As an actor we have the ability to transport the audience to another space and time, where they can escape to experience a myriad of emotions, gain insight, be uplifted, or find hope in the most unexpected places. From a very early age, I knew I wanted to be a part of the story telling. Diverse and undeniably charismatic, I'm often described as a ray of sunshine on set as I strive to bring that
little extra something to every project.
Hailing from the island of Jamaica, although I spent most of my life soaking up the Florida sun, I hit the fast track to becoming a multi-talented entertainer, earning a Jazz Vocal Degree from the University of Miami. Snatched up straight out of college by the Disney World Company, I quickly acquired a range from performing in 5 different shows under Equity Theater Contracts singing, acting, and dancing, traveling the world with Recording Artists as a part of several opening acts on a world tour rounded out my wheel house of work and helped sharpen my acting skills along the way.
With a principal role in Voices of Liberty, an Americana acappella group out of Epcot Center, then deep into the jungle, by way of Walt Disney World’s Animal Kingdom, playing the principal role of Nala in Festival of the Lion King and as a featured vocalist in Tarzan Rocks,
the culmination of this performance experience led to an invitation to be in the opening cast of “The Lion King” theater show in
Hong Kong Disneyland.
I typically put my head down and get to work, a habit instilled in me by my mom in my youth. It gained me the scholarship that turned into a degree which put me in a place where "good luck" could find me and took me right out of college into theater followed up by live performances in gainful adventures all across the globe.
That travel would later inform my characters and
make its way into my craft.
Once back in the states, it's like I hit the ground running, landing a series host role on Hot Spots, a travel show highlighting local fun in the Florida sun. My continued success in front of the camera aligned and sparked a move to California, kicking off with several tours as a vocalist with acts from N*Sync to Engelbert Humperdinck,
including a world wind trip to France for a week to
sing with renowned artist Michel Polnareff.
My drive and focus are icing on the cake, something I have molded, nurtured, and developed, but I think what makes me stand out is my commitment to being a team player. Every moment I get is an opportunity to explore, expand, and be truthful in the work, an authentic experience in life and on set that is
positive and productive for everyone.
As the dust settles, California has become my home. Evolving into an accomplished actor to date has been such a wild and welcomed ride, gaining incredible momentum on Network Television. Over time I have amassed a wonderful body of work including TV appearances on “American Crime Story: Versace” acting on screen with award winning Judith Light, "The Neighborhood", “Life in Pieces”, "S.W.A.T", “Lethal Weapon”, “Scandal”, "Criminal Minds", "Man with a Plan", and “NCIS” to name a few highlights. I managed to scoop up prominent roles in Feature Films such as "Greenland" and “Atlas Shrugged: Who is John Galt” and stepped into my 1st lead role in the holiday movie “Santa Claws", a journey into parenthood, with cuddly cats and a Santa who just happens to be allergic. I've also cultivated a thriving career in commercials, voice overs, and spokesperson endeavors gaining tremendous accolades in my pursuit. It's a thrill to take on each new opportunity, sharing my passion for performance through storytelling. I welcome the chance to learn, grow, and deepen my craft with each adventure. For me, this is just the beginning, as I remain focused and eternally grateful for every step of the journey.
